75 lbs

At lunch today, Amanda and I walked through Dinstuhl's. If you are not from the area, Dinstuhl's is a fine candies store. It was yummy to the eyes to see all the chocolate treats and candy in the display cases. Of course with Easter right around the corner there were plenty of chocolate eggs and bunnies. However, the most amazing Chocolate Bunny was sitting behind the counter. The picture does not do it justice.
This three or four foot tall solid chocolate Easter bunny weighs 75 pounds and costs a mere $600!!! Seriously, that is CRAZY I don't care how much you love chocolate!!!!

Hannah future Soccer Star

My great niece Hannah had her first Soccer Game this past Saturday. I have no idea if her team won or lost but she is absolutely adorable in that uniform.

Latest find......Muddy's Bake Shop

Do you get excited when you find a quaint little out of the way "joint"? Well, I have done just that. Last week I happened on the greatest little bakery ever. Not a big chain store but a small independently owned bake shop. They are unique and have cupcakes that are out of this world. And do you want to know what else I like about them? They have the neatest names for their cupcakes, treats, and yummies.

I will give you somes examples....

Chocolate cupcake with Chocolate Icing are called....Prozacs
Lemon cupcakes with Lemon Icing....Pucker Ups
Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Icing...Frankly Scarletts
White cake with Pink or Blue Icing......Plain Janes
Carrot cake with Vanilla Icing....Flopsys
Banana Cake with Banana Icing....Monkey Arounds

Prozac and Pucker Up

Get the picture? I love reading the names in the display case. They make me laugh.

Muddy's believes in using "good" ingredients too. They bake with range free eggs (chickens not in cages make "happy chickens and better eggs") and organic milk.

Here is a little clip from their web page....

Muddy’s is a small neighborhood bakery made of up of people who have chosen to pursue a career where they connect with their community through baked goods; we do this because we love to bake (and eat!) and we love people.

Muddy’s is for you if:
you want to connect with the people making your food.
you care about good ingredients.
you need a little boost in your day… or want to give others a boost!
you enjoy delicious baked goods that are made with care.
you value a business that values its employees.
you want to help pass on the positive energy and good will.
you want to participate in the experience.
ya get it!

The Cowboy I Love

For the second time in my life...I have seen the "Cowboy I love". Mr. George Strait. Yep. I was invited to go see George with friends and so, last Thursday night we got "cowboy'd up" as Lanell says and had a night out. It was so much fun.
I confess I do not know many songs of Leann Womack or Reba but it was still great to be out for a night.
First, we sat through LeAnn Womack ( I only knew one of her songs. Second, we sat through REBA ( I did not know ANY of her songs). But I have to say Reba was energetic and entertaining and she had Melissa Peterman visit her on stage which was HILARIOUS. I didn't know who Melissa was really but she is the host of THE SINGING BEE and was on Reba's television show also.
And then...of course...George!! WooHoo!! Got to love George. He is the only man that can truly pull off a pair of Wrangler Jeans in my opinion.
