Meet Jack 2010

In case I have not mentioned it...I LOVE Halloween and today we kept our carving of the Jack O Lantern tradition. This year the pumpkin seemed extra stringy and gooey on the inside. But in the end, I think "Jack" 2010 (short for Jack O' Lantern) turned out pretty cute.

Witchy Woman

Honestly...the picture is a bit blurry. Mollie was worried about being late for school so this was a quick pose. We are having costumes and finger food at work today. Fun!!! I love Halloween.

It's a Bird...It's a Plane....It's....

SUPER-JUSTUS

I could not resist and who could not help but love the cutest "Superman" ever??? Mindy sent me a picture of Justus trying out his Halloween costume. Doesn't that sweet smile melt your heart?
Halloween is my favorite holiday. The weather is getting cooler, the leaves are changing colors, there is candy corn and costumes, pumpkins, scarecrows, hayrides, weenie and marshmallow roasts, and now Super Justus!!!

I can't wait to see Hannah Bug's costume!!!

Whew!!! What a Weekend!!!

It was a fast and furious weekend but, we went to the Alabama/Tennessee game in Knoxville this past weekend. We had a blast but did I mention it was exhausting? I have more pictures to share and a few stories but have not had a chance to plug up the camera to the home computer yet. This is just a preview picture taken with a phone camera.

We are tired but happy girls!!!

Best Friends Forever by Jennifer Weiner

YAY! I finally read a book. Last year I was on a reading streak I suppose and this year, here it is almost November and I finally read a decent size book. But, Jennifer Weiner is one of my favorite authors and reading Best Friends Forever reminded me of that. I like the books that you can't wait to crawl in bed and pick up your book because you want to find out what happens next.

Proud as a Peacock

On our way home from the church building this morning, we happened on a few of God's beautiful creatures. Here is a picture of one of them. Too bad they would not fan out their tail feathers.

Sleeping Wild Animal???

I had to share my diva daughter in her natural habitat. She loves using a sleep mask and I found this "Marilyn Monroe" eyes one last Christmas for her.
If I had know it can be scary to walk up on when she is wearing it...i might have reconsidered the purchase. He He
