Friday night was Fabulous!!! I added one more classic rock band to my list of concerts. Steve Miller Band!!!
I had soooo much fun and had no idea how talented he was on guitar!!! There were all ages there. Twenty somethings thru sixties probably. Or either some REALLY old looking twenty somethings. HAHA!!!
They sang all their greatest hits!!!

Button Rings

While on a trip to the beach, I was browsing in a gift shop and saw "Vintage Button Rings". I examined them and thought "I can make these"!
I finally purchased all the needed supplies and this is what I came up with.
They are fun to make and you can be as creative as you want.
I walked over to my neighbors to show them off and sold the red, white, and blue ring with the anchor. $5
Yay me!

HOSA

Mollie was a member of HOSA this past school year with aspirations of going into the dental field one day.
At the end of the school year there is a banquet and the attire was "cocktail dresses". WOW! So, without spending and arm and a leg, I set out to find a dress and shoes that could be worn more than once.
So, I present to you my beautiful baby on the evening of the banquet.

Letters to Juliet

How many of you get tired of me not keeping my blog current? I know, I know. I will try and do better.
So, here it is. Last Saturday was girl movie day. LaNell, Mollie, and I went to see Letters to Juliet. I loved it!!! Very cute movie and a wonderful chick movie with my peeps.
Maybe I can give you a run down without spoiling the movie for those who want to see it and have not.
A young girl, Sophie goes to visit the city of Verona and while sightseeing she goes to Juliet Capulet's home and in the courtyard there is a wall where women write letters to Juliet with their questions of love.
Sophie finds an old letter from the 1950's stuck behind a brick and is so intrigued that she responds to the letter and helps the lady named Claire who wrote it become reunited with her first love.
It's really cute. Hope you see it.
