First off...did you think I would make it this far with my Christmas countdown? I mean really. Who thought I was blowing a bunch of hot air? Well, you have 15 days and 15 posts about Christmas. Whew. 10 more to go. Can I actually keep up the momentum? Can I actually find 10 more Christmas topics to blog about?
The answer will be on December 25th.
My question today is. Does anyone REALLY like it? I haven't been exposed to any in years so I don't know. Do people still make it? Do people still eat it?
You know what I am talking about.

1. No, I didn't think you'd make it this far. But, keep 'em coming!
ReplyDelete2. Granny used to make what she called autumn fruit cake and I loved it. She also made regular fruit cake and I'd pick out all the fruit and eat the rest. Really, now, if you pick out the fruit of a fruit cake - there's not much left so what's not to like!
I still love it! I have a small Claxton fruit cake now. (I can only have a thin slice (diabetic). My favorite fruit cake was Granny's 'icebox fruit cake'. I thought the autumn fruit cake was my recipe...the one with pineapple.
